KB, a passionate musical performer, and Carmen, a designer with a desire to dance, began their romance with Argentine Tango on February 14, 2004. As a Valentine's Day date, they attended a local cultural event that featured a night of tango dancing. They were immediately captivated by the dynamic ochos, molinetes and ganchos!

Ever since, they have traveled near and far — to Buenos Aires and back — to perfect their Argentine Tango, studying with accomplished instructors and international performers including: Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo, Daniela Pucci and Luis Bianchi, Anita Converse, Angel Garcia Clemente, Claudio Fortes and Diana Schancez, Susana Miller, Tate (Julio Cesar Di Chiazza), Anton Gazenbeek and Natalie Laruccia, Colette Herbert and Richard Council and Pulpe Esbrez and Luiza Paes.

Inspired by the dynamic nuevo/salon styles to the passionate milonguero style, KB and Carmen strive to blend the contemporary with the traditional to create their own signature dance style.

As active contributors in the local and worldwide tango community, KB and Carmen teach private lessons, group workshops and create custom programs for special events. They also host Argentine Tango Milongas in the Cleveland area.
